Hypnosand creates high-end tables that are handmade and uniquely made by local artists in Montreal. We also designed algorithms to create wonderful sand patterns based on East-Asian art: Kolams. These art patterns are designed using unique variables and parameters such as the local time, date, place and weather. This amplifies the unicity of each table.

Curated Ingredients

Each and every element involved in the creation process of our tables has been selected with great care. Our artists only use recycled materials to promote sustainability. The glass is highly durable and aligns perfectly with the table’s natural surface. Items can be placed on top of it to take full advantage of the table’s area.

Fully Customizable

We want our tables to reflect their owner’s personality. As a result, every item can be customized by you. This includes: Sand origin, ball material, table polish, material of the glass and tank bottom, lighting, and design patterns.

Connectivity

Each table is connected through a mobile application to further customize the design patterns drawn in the sand. This will allow you to select from a variety of patterns or even to create your own by simply drawing on the screen.
